Best bit, no question. We'd practically fight over them when I was growing up. Never mind the soft white bit, the crispy skins dripping with butter were the real prize. Happily, Mr L doesn't like them so much, so I can steal his if I'm quick.
And of mashed potato, and roast. Frankly I feel life is too short to peel a potato, or a carrot.
